Underwriting Data Specialist

Responsibilities

• Interact and coordinate with claims and underwriting teams
• Generate and verify predefined business reports utilizing a high level of competency on company systems, tools, and processes.
• Prepare claims and enrollment data for analysis
• Formulate answers to questions, reviewing files, records, and other documentation as needed
• Conduct preliminary analysis and prepare applicable account data for review by underwriter
• Proactively problem solve to meet and exceed client/broker expectations with internal standards
• Follow-up with Underwriters or others on outstanding items and documentation
• Identify process and system improvement concepts for achieving high results in operations
• Participate in special projects, as assigned
  
  Required Qualifications

• 1-5 years' experience in a related role
• Strong data analytics skillset
• 30 WPM typing speed or greater
• Ambitious, proactive, team player with the ability to multitask and help others when needed
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Outstanding Excel proficiency

Pay rate: $30-35 per hour depending on experience

Location: Fully remote
