IT Security Analyst II

The IT Security Analyst with a focus on Vulnerability Management to join our security team. As a Security Analyst working primarily in vulnerability management you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a vulnerability management program for Health in Tech. this position offers many growth opportunities and training.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in vulnerability management with M365 Defender for Endpoints/Microsoft Intune.

• Responsible for identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities and risks.
• Responsible for creating, maintaining, and receiving alerts related to potential security events as well as investigating security events and assisting in determining an appropriate response and corrective actions.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and basic networking skills
• The ideal candidate should have a strong technical understanding of vulnerability management, with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse remote team.
• This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Expertise in M365 Defender and Microsoft Intune
• Working knowledge of security risks management, CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System), CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures), and vulnerability remediation/mitigation
• Working knowledge of secure software development lifecycle programs
• Working knowledge of compliance and regulatory program requirements such as ISO 27000, ISO 30111, NIST, GDPRA, and SOC standards a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM a plus
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse remote team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
