IT Admin Assistant/Support

The Information Technology Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the COO and VP of Information Technology, and Admin department in managing day-to-day IT systems and networks. This position requires a technically savvy individual who is extremely well organized and adept at communicating both verbally and in writing with stakeholders across the organization.

IT Admin Assistant/Support Job Responsibilities:

  • Delivers personalized IT infrastructure support for Stuart office as well for some remote individuals.
  • Serve as project coordinator and point of contact for the IT/Admin dept, fielding requests, organizing schedules, developing process improvements.
  • Manage Intranet Site (SharePoint based) and update as needed.
  • Maintain permissions on SharePoint and other internal software programs.
  • Create, update, and provide Training & Documentation to all users globally.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors and suppliers, including managing invoicing, and payment processes, working closely with AP.
  • Systems testing/implementation/Process improvements.
  • Manage Microsoft Office 365 licensing and setup new users in a hybrid environment.
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, researches, supports, and resolves user IT issues and requests.
  • Escalates IT issues to appropriate technical personnel, as required.
  • Manages corporate asset listing of all IT capitalized hardware and equipment using Manage Engine and Active Directory

IT Admin Assistant/Support Qualification Requirements:

  • Technical Skills Required:
  • Minimum of two years of Microsoft technical support experience and superior customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have knowledge of SharePoint, Office 365, and Active Directory
  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience of supporting Microsoft OS and Office systems
  • Experience supporting laptops, desktops, and wireless devices.
  • Personal Skills Required:
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice.
  • Must have excellent customer service and customer liaison skills focused on putting the user first.
  • Must have the ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and directed fashion.
  • Must have exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve IT project issues and challenges.
  • Must have the ability to comprehend and communicate clearly and effectively on a wide range of technical issues with people at all levels.
  • Must be accustomed to working on various issues simultaneously and ensuring the integrity of each project engaged in.
  • Must have exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires excellent written, documentation and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
