Health in Tech (HIT) is reimagining and simplifying the way self-funded health plans are designed, priced and packaged for small to mid-sized companies. We are a fast-growing company combining the expertise of software developers, reinsurance specialists, insurance administrators and health-care providers to challenge the high-cost of health insurance for businesses and dramatically simplify the buying process.

We are looking for a fully remote enrollment and billing assistant to join our fast-growing company. The main responsibility will be monitoring daily enrollment and eligibility files as they come in. The enrollment assistant will also be responsible for documenting and reporting all enrollment changes and discrepancies. The enrollment and billing assistant is expected to execute and prioritize billing and enrollment for clients, executing tasks and responsibilities while building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

· Monitor daily enrollment and eligibility files as they come in.

· Responsible for documenting and reporting all enrollment changes and discrepancies.

· Verify all invoices and premium transactions.

· Confirm all data inputs on renewal groups in reference to billing.

· Assist in integrating all TPA's with our billing and enrollment systems using knowledge of specific file feeds.

· Assist in billing and transaction files on a weekly basis.

· Assist in any payment problems with the client or TPA.

· Be a liaison between the billing and claims department when necessary.

· Track paid claims and determine claim fund balances and current attachment points.

Required Qualifications

· EDI File experience

· Accounting and Finance experience

· Strong M365 skills, specifically Excel

· Comfortable utilizing SharePoint

· Associates degree (BA preferred)

· Highly Organized

· Great communication skills over email and phone

· Strong analytical skills

· Problem resolution skills
